Pre wedding couple shoot

Yet another beautiful couple we shot around a month back, it was a very last minute call that this couple took to go for a pre wedding shoot and as expected it turned out to be super fun :)

The groom Rajesh called us one fine evening asking if we could do a pre wedding shoot for them in the next couple of days, generally we take around a week time to hunt for locations , plan out the frames we would like to shoot, shop for accessories needed to setup the frame and so on, but this one was a bit different, as our hands were already full with work but we decided to take it up.

We met the couple the next day evening to know them a bit before the shoot and decide on the attire.. they came across as a fun loving and energetic couple which was a huge plus :) we decided to have the shoot the next morning itself now this was quite challenging because of the time constraints...we headed straight towards buying some props that might be useful, finalized on a location, sketched out some frames, charged batteries, got all the instruments in place and packed our bags for the next day.

The next day was gonna start quite early i.e 6am in the morning. From our experience we were pretty sure the couple would not turn up on time but to our surprise this was one exception, they turned up on location bang on time, quite impressive, so without any delays we started with our shoot and I must say it went on pretty smooth, Rajesh and Meghna had a beautiful chemistry, the love  that they had between them was clearly seen through. What a lovely couple to work with.

one of the setup that we did for the couple :)

God bless you guys :)
The couple having a fun time.
Full on nautanki :D

Vibes(Hitec City Branch)-Bad Experience

So I got this Vibes voucher in some mall which i had to scratch and win beauty services worth 15k or 7.5k I I won the 15k package which had a facial, head masage, haircut, manicure and some more stuff in it.
I thought of givin it a try called the Vibes(hitec city branch) and they said you will have to pay a service tax of 1685/- to avai the 15k package, sounded fair enough to me booked an evening appointment of  around 7pm .
I reached there at around 7.15pm..was already a bit disappointed with the interiors and the receptionist but still decided to give it a try..they informed me that all the services cant be taken on the same day so i decided to go with the manicure and head massage and haircut and rest of the things she booked me an appointment for next day 9am as i had to travel the next day afternoon. The hair wash they said would be charged and added another 150 to the service taxes, I agreed to it and paid the amount.I asked the receptionist what products they used and she replied saying of course "Loreal products"(the big lie)

They started with my manicure. The interiors of the place was nothing fancy , almost like any local parlor, the beautician were not very well groomed themselves, i already had a sinking feeling but now there was no turning back as i had already paid the whole amount. The manicure went pretty fast as the lady had to leave for home, she completed it in 10-12 minutes , she than asked me if i needed my nails to be painted as well,
i got a bit irritated at her question which she could see and quickly got a box of unbranded, lame colors of nail paint to me..i choose a very neutral color..she painted my nails in a haste, my niece does a better job than her it was so damn unprofessional..with the skin around my nails painted as well and gaps on some nails. After that she just vanished..No base coat no top coat..thoroughly unprofessional manicure i had.
I was already pissed on myself for taking such a bad decision.

By now the hair stylist finished with his client and asked me to have a seat started with a head massage which too was done in less than 3 minutes, nothing great about it too, the guy was pretty ignorant started commenting on my hair( i have pretty fine hair)saying this head massage is useless doesn't work , you should go for hair spa's, I ignored him than he did a hair wash ..i asked him what shampoo was he using , he said some herbal shampoo..i was surprised, he went ahead saying all this Lo real products are useless ,he finished washing my hair without conditioning it, i felt cheated by this time i was so damn irritated that i asked him not to do a haircut because i was sure he would screw it up..so i just asked him to blow dry, the dryer he was using dint have  temperature control, he blasted my scalp with heat which i could not tolerate, i asked him to stop, but he kept saying this much heat is good it gives shine, clearly they had a untrained, ignorant,un groomed staff. I had to come back the next morning as well so i decided to not show my anger yet.I left very unhappy and irritated.

The next day i had a facial, foot massage and diet counselling and skin analysis to be done.Started with the facial and foot massage which was pretty OK, and again they used some herbal products that i have never heard of.The facial did not do anything other thn drying out my skin even further.
The next thing was the dietitian she started by saying how much today we eat unhealthy which had no relevance to anything as i am a pretty healthy eater. She said all kinds of irrelevant things for eg.she asked me about what I eat throughout the day ..I told her about my intakes which included everything starting from fruits, sprouts, milk, meat but she still kept blabbering saying stuff which she has already rehearsed all through this years.complete waste of time.In fact she herself looked like she needed a diet plan.

The last thing left was skin analysis and I was hoping really bad that at least this would make some sense but again i was highly disappointed, as this lady entered and sat right in-front of me saying she was the one who was gonna analyse my skin. She started with your skin is pretty clean, you just have a bit of puffy eyes which is due to lack of sleep may be and a bit of dark circles,..we have lot of offers on under eye treatments you can go for it..there are special discounts, she handed me a booklet when i asked her so what about my skin analysis to which she replied ya its done you have dry skin go for this hydrating facials, and I could not believe myself, this was the bloody skin analyses that they did, whatever she said even a 10 year old kid could do that analyses..god damn I have a mirror at home if i wanted to know that my eyes are puffy coz of less sleep or my skin is pretty clear why the hell would i go to this morons, by the time i was done there was no one in the reception..i did not have the time to wait to blast on them as i was travelling in few hours.

Hence here I am sharing my experience which might help at least some from not repeating my mistake.Do not ever ever think of going to Vibes at least the hitec city one, they are full of untrained ,useless staff, you would just end up wasting your money in crappy services, any local parlors would do exactly the same thing what vibes has to offer..and I am sure only people who get vouchers are coming there, next time you get vibes voucher just throw it in the dustbin,it is a waste of time and money, you better go home take a nice hot shower.I regretted spending 1900 on such shitty services which was not even worth 500 bucks. It just looks like they are offering a lot but beware its a TRAP!!!

Trip to Ganpatipule (with pics)

It had been a long time since I went on a trip with my parents..the last one I could remember was almost a decade back, so we decided to plan for a trip together, started jotting down on places we could visit, Ganpatipule seemed like the best option to us because of numerous reasons, so we finalized the dates and booked our tickets :)
The nearest station to reach Ganpatipule is Ratnagiri though there are different modes to reach Ratnagiri :
Train :   There are a lot of trains that helps you reach Ratnagiri..you will find the list here :
             http://www.ixigo.com/trains/Ratnagiri-RN
Bus :    There are busses available too for Ratnagiri..you can book them at Redbus.com
Flight :  The airport is located at a distance of 12km far from the main city.
Tourists can take taxi or cab to reach Ratnagiri city comfortably.
Flights are available for ratnagiri on makemytrip.com
Road :   If you decide on doing a road trip you can find information about the direction on
              the following links:
              http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/travelogues/33215-mumbai-ganapatipule.html
            (mumbai to ganpatipule)
            http://www.tripadvisor.in/ShowUserReviews-g1156427-r69412485-Ganpatipule_Maharashtra.html           (pune to Ganpatipule)

We took the mangla lakswadeep exp(12618) which started early morning 6am from nasik road station and reached Ratnagiri at 4.30 in the evening.
From Ratnagiri station to ganpatipule it is approximately another 45 km,there are auto rikshaws available right outside the station they will charge you 450 rs to reach Ganpatipule.

there is an option of bus as well but if you have senior citizen or kids its a better idea to stick to the autos.
It took us a little more than an hour to reach Ganpatipule and the drive was worth it,it is full of beautiful beach views and greenery.

We were a little skeptical about the weather but it was pleasantly cool even in the month of March.
As we were travelling in the first week of March( which is an off season) we dint really find any problems in finding an accommodation.

One of the best options you can find is the MTDC resort which is right on the beach and offers an amazing view.
You have to book your room at least a week in advance if you are travelling during peak season.
http://www.maharashtratourism.gov.in/mtdc/HTML/MaharashtraTourism/MTDC_Resort/Ganpatipule/Ganpatipule.html

If the view is not a big deal for you than there are innumerable options to stay right outside the MTDC resort offering
accommodation for 1/3rd the price :)
So finally we settled down took a shower and headed right towards the beach :)

That's mom dad enjoying the sunset :)
We spend the evening relaxing on the beach, among the eatery options there are lot of nariyal paani,
chat and juice stalls along the beach and also couple of small pure veg hotels which offer snacks and dinner.

Food is average. if you are looking for non veg food MTDC is the only option though we did spot a small place offering nonveg food but was not very great taste wise.
The stalls and hotels around the beach closes down by 9pm which might be disappointing for the younger crowd but for us it was fine as we were just looking for a peaceful getaway free of pollution and noise and
Ganpatipule served the purpose very well.We had early dinner and spent some more time sitting besided the
beach listening to the waves crashing at the shore, it was truely serene.
For the next day we decided to do a site seeing ..there are a lot of travel agency in that area, they offer private cars(1.5 to 2k approx) as well as vehicle on sharing basis for site seeing..they also offer a lot of packages ..half day ..full day and even a 2 days package..we booked for the ganpatipule-pawas package which was a half day thing.
The next day started early for us, we were on the beach at around 6.30 itself and the view was amazing.
The temple as seen from the beach

took a morning walk on the beach and headed toward the temple, the pradakshina(walk around the temple) was around 1 km long and it was like a trek around the mountain.we enjoyed it thoroughly :)

We had our breakfast and got ready for the site seeing, started at around 10 am ..they were supposed to cover around 12 points from Ganpatipule to Pawas..out of which 3,4 were closed for renovation which we were not told about while booking x-( , some of the spots covered were:-
Lokmanya Tilak's birthplace:

Bhagwati Temple :

Thibaw Palace:
Prachin kokan :

There were few more spots which I dint really care to click :P
We skipped few spots as the Ganpatipule beach seemed to be a better option for us to spend time :P, we were back to the beach by 4.30 pm...
That's me relaxing on the beach ;)
I found the cloud patterns very interesting and ended up clicking a dozen of them :P

We sat there till the sun sank deep into the ocean ..it was beautiful..This was one of the most clean, empty(may be because it was off season) and less exploited beach we had been to, Had an amazing time , highly recommended for families, couples and senior citizens :)
young crowd may not like this place as much for obvious reasons (no booze, everything closes at 9pm, even smoking is not allowed in some places.:P)
The next day we took the same train which was at 7.40 in the morning..we returned back happy and satisfied..it was indeed a peaceful and beautiful trip :)

Two Umbrella's and a Mango Tree

On a rainy Sunday afternoon,
Sitting beside the window i could see,
Two umbrellas and a mango tree.

They walked passed the mango tree,
Along the picturesque lake so carefree,
Facing the lake they settled down on a bench,
Two umbrellas and a wooden bench.

By now it just lightly drizzled,
Making the air smell so fresh and chiseled,
They sat there living the moment together,
Two umbrellas and the love in-between.

They spoke, they giggled, they laughed,
Poured hot tea in a single mug from a flask,
They shared it together like the love they did,
Two umbrellas and a cup of tea.

After hours of togetherness they headed back,
Walking along the same old track,
From were i was standing i could see,
Two umbrellas and a mango tree.

I Love You..I Love You Not?

Everyday.. in fact every minute a couple is tying a knot in different part's of the world.
Some to their childhood sweethearts (Awww.. the most romantic types)
Some just bump into each other to realize they were meant for each other (brilliant..the "I just got lucky" types)
and then there are some who take the arrange marriage way and surprisingly enough discover that they couldn't have asked for a better life partner (wow..how filmy)

Unfortunately everyone is not as committed or lucky.
Relationships can be tricky and in today's world they have become much more fragile, the durability quotient has gone down drastically
Of course, with so much option available why waste time on fixing things when they can be easily replaced,
this is the approach which has changed the scenario of present generation relationships.

We are the "confused generation" we want money, we want love, we want independence and we are not ready to sacrifice, we want everything without compromising on anything, when this type falls in love it generally doesn't last too long.

This people start as "friends" and with time grow closer and then after a couple of years face a confrontation session and that's enough to break the relationship and find for a replacement.
It generally starts with a simple phrase when one of the two express there liking for the other saying,
"I think i like you"(well there are many other ways of saying it basically it will have the word "like"
somewhere in the whole sentence)
Now that's so sweet who doesn't want to be liked by friends, such a harmless word..isn't it ( no it isn't...its a trap)from here on it is just going to introduce more confusion in your life.
You will spend more time together, you will go places together, your priorities will change, even YOU will change(its not too late yet just "STOP")  but no, you will still continue without giving any thought to were it is heading and all this because you like been liked and you love the attention you are getting, everything seems to be so nice until a fellow friend/family/ or anyone around you could see what you choose to ignore and decides to throw the million dollar question at you..so, whats going on between you two? and there comes the famous "I dont know what you are talking about reaction"
errrm we are good friends errrm actually more than good friends errmm or may ... i dunno and than you enter a self analysis phase were you start asking questions to yourself...
what am i doing? do we have a future together? is this really love?
you are so disturbed by now, that you decide to include the other person into it hoping to find the answers.
So till now everything was peaceful and rosy , life was good ( errm not anymore) now is the climax phase were as you must have guessed, the other person also has no idea whatsoever about whats going on between them.
Every question you throw will meet with a not very convincing " I DON'T KNOW" or I AM NOT SURE ( and there comes everything crashing down)
you suddenly realize that this was all sheer wastage of time but you are still hopeful that things might just get back on track..(which is never going to happen) after this conversation things change to never get back to what it used to be again, and it ends with "Maybe I am not ready for it yet", (that's the end just like that "OVER")
so something that starts with an I LIKE YOU might end with I AM NOT READY YET..
so next time someone says I LIKE YOU..Beware!!! (It is a never ending LOOP)

F.Y.I : people falling in this type do settle down at some point of their life & that's not because they
are finally ready or have found true love or found the right person or whatever.. but simply because                they neither have the patience nor the energy to go through the "LOOP" again.
